Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery

"Ciclops Cyderi (later to become 'and Brewery') started in 2014, at our home, in Lyman, SC for my wife Cindy (The Ciclops, you know, Cindy with one 'i'...in her name.)

 

I never really got the chance to be a homebrewer. In April of 2014, I brewed my first successful cider, by the summer my first beer. Most of what was made was given away or traded, in fact we never dreamed of opening a cidery or brewery, this was someone else's dream that eventually became ours. By August of that year, I was preparing a business plan for a Cidery/Brewery/Taphouse which would be the first of its kind in South Carolina.

The beers and ciders that we produced, and are producing today, reflect the character of not only myself, but the core staff that have given themselves to making CC&B seriously fun.

 

Our slogan, "Making Absurd the Norm" means brewing classic German beers to style alongside beers 'dry hopped' with waffles or baseball bats. It means creating ciders with flavors from around the world that have never been tried before while honoring the simple apple that made it. It means never taking ourselves too seriously but always making good liquid."
